Course Breakdown
Day One
On day 1 of this course attendees will be instructed on the various safety hazards, contamination control and fuel system cleanliness requirements to ensure continual engine performance and reliability.
Day Two
On day 2 of this course attendees are taught the location and function of the various fuel system electronic and mechanical fuel system components. There will be in-depth discussions on the fuel system operation, how the various sensors operate and electrical theory.
Day Three
On day 3 of this course attendees are taught that understanding how a system works is the key to diagnosis. However, the C-Series engines require a number of calibrations to ensure optimum engine performance. Attendees will be instructed when and which calibrations are required and how to carry out these calibrations.
Day Four
On day 4 of this course, using examples from industry experience, the instructor will provide instruction on the common complaints and faults experienced with the C-Series engines and how to carryout accurate mechanical and electrical diagnosis to ensure engine reliability and performance to OEM standards.
